Lance just stared at Jared for the longest time, once again. He didn't want to go anywhere with the boy, so he really had no idea what to tell him. Then suddenly an idea came to his mind. Lance suggested, "Why don't you run up to the next town over and rent a few movies, then bring them back to the room and we'll watch them?" His plan was that he could escape from Jared while he left to get the movies, or that Jared was too lazy to walk half an hour to Mahogany, or whatever the next town over was named. Even if neither of those plans worked, at least Lance would be in his room and could go to sleep whenever he wanted.

Jared stared at Lance for a moment, like he was deep into thought. He then let out a groan. "Awww, but I don't wanna go alone!" he said leaning back in his chair like a little kid. He wanted Lance to come with him! "Why don't you come with me?" he asked with a smile. Well, of course he was too scared to go alone to a scary town with scary people in it.
He looked at Lance, his eyes sparkling like he was looking at something shiny and cool. If Lance came with him, then maybe everyone would be too scared to attack them! Well, Jared was scary too, but not as scary as Lance. Well, Lance scared him too, but Jared was a brave boy. Yay.

Lance stared at Jared like he had just suggested they become mass murderer's and take over the world. "You really want me to come with you?" he asked in disbelief. Knowing what the simple boy's answer would be before he even said anything, Lance just sighed and agreed, "Fine. I'll go with you. You better not annoy me too much though." Without saying anything else, Lance stood up and walked out of the library and in the direction of the next town over. He had the feeling something would end up happening, but he just ignored it.

Jared, once again, in a whisper-y voice said, "Yayy!" He jumped up and followed after the boy to the next town. He wasn't being a lager, but he was a little slow. He finally caught up to Lance and he looked around. "Hmm, So, you do you know where a movie store...thing... is in this town?" he asked as he looked at Lance. Because he sure as hell didn't. He still had that obnoxious smile on his face as he spoke too, but he started to look around and he didn't have any idea where he was! He hoped that Lance did.

Lance hadn't really thought about that. He really had no idea where the store was, but hey, he would figure it out. Lance was a cool person, so he could figure things out. After walking around the town for a while, he found the video place! He was so happy that he was cool enough to find it! Almost skipping, Lance walked into the store and stood in the middle of it. He wasn't much of a movie person, so he would let Jared pick it out. Lance turned around to make sure that the younger boy had followed him and not gotten lost.
